A significant trend in susceptibility to PTSD was found with respect to increasing C alleles in genotypes. The odds of an individual with PTSD having the CC genotype (rather than the TT genotype) are twice that of the controls. The analysis revealed that 14% of the susceptibility to PTSD could be attributed to having the CC genotype of rs6277 DRD2 polymorphism.
